South Wales Prison

Track Consulting was initially appointed in 2012 to undertake an enhanced lifecycle assessment of a prison in South Wales. The primary objective of this report was to conduct a detailed assessment of the current condition of the site, before using this information to produce a revised lifecycle model.

Following the successful acceptance of this revised lifecycle model, Track was retained and employed to manage this identified budget. Track has retained this role since 2013, and continues to identify, procure, project manage, and execute large-scale lifecycle replacement schemes at this secure site.

Coventry Hospital

Track Consulting was appointed in 2016 to undertake an enhanced lifecycle assessment of a hospital in the West Midlands. The primary objective of this report was to conduct a detailed assessment of the current condition of the site, before using this information to produce a revised lifecycle model.

Before commencement of the full condition survey of both the building’s fabric and its M&E services, Track carried out a detailed contractual review to establish lifecycle replacement responsibility. The condition survey data was then used, alongside additional information supplied by the client, to create a new lifecycle model.

Nottinghamshire Hospitals

Track Consulting was appointed in 2015 to undertake an enhanced lifecycle assessment of three large hospital sites in the wider Nottinghamshire area. The primary objective of this report was to conduct a detailed assessment of the current condition of each site, before using this information to produce a revised lifecycle model that incorporated the assets found in all three locations.

Track carried out a detailed contractual review to establish lifecycle replacement responsibility. The condition survey data was then used, alongside additional information supplied by the client, to create a new lifecycle model. This lifecycle model was subsequently put forward for Technical Advisor review, and was recommended for funder approval and acceptance.

Walsall Hospital

Track Consulting was appointed in 2015 to undertake an enhanced lifecycle assessment of a hospital in the West Midlands area. Secure Training Centre

Barnsley Schools

Track Consulting was appointed in 2014 to undertake an enhanced lifecycle assessment of 13 school sites in the Barnsley area. The primary objective of this report was to conduct a detailed assessment of the current condition of each of the sites, before using this information to produce a revised lifecycle model that incorporated all locations.

Exeter Schools

Track Consulting was appointed in 2014 to undertake an enhanced lifecycle assessment of five secondary schools and one primary school in the Exeter area. The primary objective of this report was to conduct a detailed assessment of the current condition of each of the sites, before using this information to produce a revised lifecycle model that incorporated all locations.

Birmingham Schools

Track Consulting was appointed in 2013 to undertake an Enhanced Lifecycle Review at 11 schools in the wider Birmingham area. This enhanced lifecycle review process included a complete latent defect review as well as a full condition survey of all sites. The key deliverable of this enhanced service was a new, clear and more accurate lifecycle model based on the current state of the schools.

The lifecycle remodel and corresponding reports can be used to aid the successful management of the lifecycle fund across the remainder of the concession period. The report can assist with the identification of both work carried out to date and work required in the future as well as helping to confirm of the accuracy and adequacy of the available lifecycle fund.

Interserve Schools

Having undertaken condition surveys across Interserve Education’s schools’ portfolio, Track Consulting was asked to assist in reviewing the associated lifecycle models. Using data obtained from the condition surveys alongside the existing financial models, Track was able to update the lifecycle forecasts to provide a more accurate picture of the lifecycle spend.

The more detailed lifecycle figures produced as a result of Track’s review enabled Interserve Education to make more informed commercial decisions across their portfolio.
