Track Consulting

London Fire Stations

Track was appointed in the role of project manager to help facilitate Financial Close for the construction and management of nine new-build PFI fire stations across eight separate authorities within the greater London area. The new facilities replaced existing stations, and enabled the London Fire Brigade to efficiently meet the needs of their workforce.

Track was tasked with coordinating and managing the creation of the Contractor’s Proposals during the preferred bidder stage, working alongside the key contractors and sub-contractors. Track was subsequently awarded the Employer’s Agent role for the construction phase of this project.

Sandwell Schools

Following their announcement as Preferred Bidder in spring 2008, the Environments for Learning consortium requested that Track Consulting undertake the new project development role on the Sandwell BSF project.

Track was required to put the necessary processes and procedures in place to ensure the successful delivery of the non-sample schemes.

Leeds Schools

Track Consulting was appointed by the Environments for Learning consortium to assist in reaching Financial Close. Upon successfully reaching Financial Close, Track was then asked to provide a variety of services to the Local Education Partnership (LEP), such as the roles of general manager, construction project manager, and new project development manager.

Through the LEP, Track delivered several of PFI and D&B projects, including two leisure centres.

St Leonard's Medical Practice

St. Leonard’s Medical Practice appointed Track Consulting to assist with a complex scheme from its concept stage. Track’s management ranged from business case preparation and the securing of funding, to public consultation and construction phase management. Track helped provide this first-time client with an operational GP surgery, supported by ancillary dental and pharmacy provision.

Ynysowen Primary School

The Ynysowen School combined two existing schools located on a greenfield site, as part of a wider development to include new roads, and a roundabout, in addition to housing.

As well as assisting the Council through a planning appeal and the approval of the Full Business Case, Track went on to coordinate the appointment of the full design team before acting as construction phase project manager under the NEC3 form of contract.
