When Track was set up in 2000, it became apparent that clients’ needs were not being met in respect of site inspection services. Track Inspecting was set up as a response to this need. In 2002 the company was formally incorporated. The scope of services offered has increased from traditional clerks of works inspections and monitoring to PFI quality checks and due diligence. The operations of the company are managed by Jason England. He runs a team of clerk of works with vast experience including both building and engineering expertise. The projects that have been successfully delivered include the Neath Port Talbot Hospital, a PFI project where clerks of works services were provided directly to the contractor; Ysbyty Cwm Rhondda, a traditionally procured project where a full clerks of works team ensured proper standards of construction were maintained; Prospect Park Mental Health Unit, where monthly quality check reports were made to the private sector consortium. We have also provided services on schools projects and a private residential development. This last project was the conversion of a Grade II listed building to luxury apartments. We have also carried out life-cycle and condition surveys on PFI projects.
